Risk & Governance/Management of Change Workshop
Practical Approaches to Operational Excellence, Governance and Risk Management
Many organisations identify risks too late, make decisions after implementation, lack cross-department coordination, and struggle under crisis conditions. Our Strategic Risk & Governance Simulation addresses these challenges by combining structured governance exercises, scenario-based event pressure, risk-driven decision mechanics, and facilitated reflection to sharpen your team’s response.
This one-day, board-based workshop engages executive and operational teams—including Accountable Managers, Safety Managers, Compliance Managers, and other key roles—across departments. Participants navigate dynamic scenarios such as a new terminal opening, environmental challenges, or supplier changes, making risk-driven decisions where every choice carries consequences and requires careful prioritization under pressure. Facilitated reflection after each round helps teams analyse decisions, uncover gaps, and embed Management of Change (MoC) principles, ensuring lessons translate into actionable improvements.
The simulation can be customized to your organisation, or you can choose from 25 ready-to-go scenarios tailored to your sector. Success is measured through KPIs including risk awareness, decision quality, reputation, environmental stewardship, and compliance adherence, giving tangible insights into your organisation’s readiness for complex operational challenges. Delivered with professional facilitation, every session concludes with a post-training report offering measurable learning outcomes that reinforce strategic and operational resilience.

| Part | Title | Objective |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Introduction & Principles | Friendly welcome and introduction to our workshop. Explanation of the principles of Management of Change (MoC) in aviation, including how operational decisions influence safety, compliance, revenue, reputation, and environment. The simulation format, rules, and objectives are explained. |
| 2 | Simulation Part 1 | Participants begin the simulation and manage an aviation (relatefd) organization facing operational changes, events, and resource constraints. Teams evaluate risks, choose change proposals, and update their performance indicators. |
| 3 | Simulation Part 2 | The simulation continues with increasing complexity. Additional regulatory, operational, and financial pressures are introduced, forcing teams to deal with the consequences of earlier decisions and unexpected risks. |
| 4 | Debrief & Key Takeaways | The simulation results are reviewed and discussed. Participants reflect on the decisions made during the exercise and identify key lessons for real-world aviation operations and governance. |
| 5 | Certification & Drinks | We will conclude the workshop with a brief certificate presentation to recognize your participation. Afterwards, please join us for drinks and light bites in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere—an opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with fellow participants. |
